The lamella frame design — allows maximum air flow and heat dissipation, provides a larger surface area for heat to pass through and resulting lower heat concentration within the PS5 internals.
Lamella frame design increases the surface area — allows high efficiency and effective heat dissipation. The design also reduces noise level when air is in contact with the frame
The PS5 cooler is equipped with six high-speed fans up to 10,000 RPM, designed to move large volume of air. It works in concert with the cooler frame design to deliver high volume of heat extraction — allow console to stay cool even during intense gaming session.
