Chlorella
Symbiosis is an interdependent lifestyle of two or more species. Could we use this efficient phenomena of biology in a bigger scale from the perspective of design, new product conception? Algaes are producing O2 for humans while humans exhale CO2, which is the most important gas for the algae photosynthesis. This circulation makes the perfect symbiosis possible in the Chlorella concept.
I’m looking for an answer for this question with the Chlorella Oxygen Pavilion concept. My answer is a future application of the biotechnology, the combination of ecological changes, and direction of technological research.
Using oxygen bars is the result of air pollution in Asia. breathing fresh oxygen is a similar experience to saunas where people enjoy the warm air, orthe light rooms where users feel the psychologycal benefit of the “sunshine”. In these pavilions users can relax while the oxygen supports the healing effect.
The oxygen production is based on the algaetechnological development and photosynthesis.
The space itself is designed for separation and social life as well.
